Angelica Panganiban will soon make Philippine TV sizzle with her portrayal of Rubi, la protagonista-villana. Few teasers have already been shown, but Rubi has yet to reveal herself. The audience, however, will only have to wait for a very short while as next week, its full trailer is due to be shown.
As of presstime, it is confirmed that Diether Ocampo will play Hector, the wealthy architect (Sebastian Rulli in the telenovela version). Jake Cuenca will play Alejandro, Rubi's true love (Eduardo Santamarina). Shaina Magdayao will play Maribel (Jacqueline Bracamontes).
Rubi is a remake of the Televisa telenovela of the same title. Such was topbilled by Barbara Mori.
