Alexandra García, una bella inmigrante de 17 años de edad, y su madre, se ven forzadas a mudarse desde Estados Unidos hacia Ciudad de México para vivir con una tía rica, Verónica. Repentinamente, Alexandra y su madre se ven inmersas en un mundo de intrigas y traición donde el dinero no es ningún obstáculo y las personas no son lo que parecen ser. El drama de escuela secundaria pronto ocurre, cuando Esteban y David pelean por el amor de Alexandra.
