Synopsis/Sinopsis

Light, fun, and different is how "Lalola" is; a Telenovela that exposes the difficulties and advantages of being a woman in today’s competitive world.

Ramiro "Lalo" Padilla is a known womanizer, male chauvinist, and editor of the famous men’s magazine "Don". He has it all: money, talent, beauty, women at his call and beck and he has never had to think of the consequences of his actions; all this, until Romina’s arrival, his last victim as a man.

Romina fell in love with Lalo after spending a night with him. However, she can’t deal with the disenchantment after being abandoned and decides to take vengeance by teaching him a strong lesson. She seeks a sorceress to turn Lalo into a beautiful exciting woman.

The spell is effective and Lalo wakes up in the body of a woman. Without understanding what is happening, he runs to his best friend Grace – who is secretly in love with Lalo – who accompanies him and supports him in this journey, which implies discovering all the details of the complicated feminine world.

Lalo must encounter the root of the spell that has changed his life, passing for Dolores Padilla "Lola", his supposed cousin, and assuming the direction of the magazine "Don" under a different view. He will suffer directly all the chauvinist abuse from other men like him. He will discover female sensitivity, the advantage of being a woman, and – least expected – the involuntary closeness to his job mate, Facundo, a handsome, intelligent Young man who is in charge of the magazine’s image and for whom he will fall head-over-heels.

Lola will try to distance herself from Facundo in every way possible, but the effect will always be the opposite. This situation brings Lola to decide over her destiny and chose the path truly desired: continue being Lola and face the new reality or return to the false and empty life in Lalo’s place.
