Fox Television Studios is currently preparing the North American adaptation of the Argentine teen hit Rebelde Way. The show will be produced by Jennifer Lopez and Simon Fields of Nuyorican Production and will be directed by Duane Adler (“Save the Last Dance” and “Step Up”).
Rebelde Way is the story of four teenagers who go to Elite Way School, a private boarding school attended by the children of the wealthiest and most powerful members of society, as well as some who had been given scholarships. Together, they face the toughest challenges of being adolescents, and learn lessons about life, love, and friendship.
The Argentine original currently airs on TV5.
