Colombian actress Zharick León gets a nod for her role as Bella in the Dominican Republic. Zharick was chosen as the actress of the year in the Latin Pride International Television Awards, an award body of the said country. The recognition was for her performance in Dona Bella, an adaptation of a popular Brazilian telenovela.
Zharick Leon has a large fan base in the said Carribean country, thanks to his performance in Pasión de Gavilanes. She also has a huge following in other countries such as in Puerto Rico and Spain where Dona Bella had performed well.
