[ESTRELLAS DE TELENOVELAS] Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazan move to Miami

Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazán are already living in Miami

The couple of actors arrived yesterday with everything, including their pet Samy, to make sure that their daughter, Elisa Marie, is born in the U.S.

Confirming what they had announced a few weeks ago, Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazán packed their suitcases, including their pet Samy, and have gone to live in Miami, FL, where they will remain during the coming months until their daughter, whom they will name Elisa Marie, is born.

"It’s time to make the trip now because they allow you to fly only until you’re seven months [pregnant]. It’s a matter of safety. Then I will stay there, just waiting,” the 25-year-old actress told the Mexican television program La oreja (The Ear) (Televisa) before boarding the plane to Florida.

”I’ll have to stay there through Christmas and New Year. I’ll miss Mexico a lot, but then I’ll go back with the baby and everything. We’re going to Miami because we decided for the baby to be born there, and it’s a good time to share those final months of pregnancy,” Bazán added.

Besides the couple’s wish that their first baby be an American, Gabriel Soto, 33, admitted that another reason to make the trip was to distance themselves from the controversy caused a few days ago when the male star of the telenovela Querida enemiga (Dear Enemy) declared publicly that Soto’s ex girlfriend, actress Martha Julia was the love of his life.

"It wasn’t a big deal, but it made us stronger, it brought us closer together. Here’s the proof: I love my wife and I will devote the rest of my life to her. Deeds speak louder than words and we’re finally together. I believe this entire experience united us even more and now we will just wait for the baby to arrive and love each other more than ever,” said Soto.
