It seems that Genesis Rodriguez, the son of singer El Puma, is slated to play the role of Jade in the remake of the Brazilian telenovela "El Clon." Rodriguez emerged as the favorite among the casting directors of the TV Globo and Telemundo venture, alongside Mauricio Ochmann, who is rumored to have gotten the role of the leading man.

I am sorry she has proven herself to be a good actress but shes not worthy to be jade. she could be latifah or ramia but, not jade. I think its stupid to remake this great novela the old version was perfect why kill it with a new one! I mean no one can be a better said than dalton vigh! ah can't telemundo make it's own damn novelas? why take credit for the ones that already exist?
she is going to be great ....genesis is beautiful and sexy very talented
