Christian Meier to play psychopath Julián García in the telenovela "Alguien te Mira" ; Danna García to star as Commissioner Eva Zanetti

For the first time, Danna García and Christian Meier will be working together as the lead couple in the in the Telemundo telenovela Alguien te Mira which will start in September. The Peruvian actor is preparing to return to soap operas in Telemundo, after trying his luck in Hollywood. On the other hand, Colombian actress Danna Garcia reappears in Telemundo after starring in Bella Calamidades and in the remake of Cuna de Lobos. 

Christian Meier is a familiar face in Telemundo productions. The Peruvian began his career as a singer at age 12. Later, he transitioned to be an actor by appearing in Peruvian telenovelas like 

 'Luz Maria' with Angie Cepeda. His big international break came when Telemundo gave him the lead roles in the telenovlas La Tormenta, Zorro: La Espada y La Rosa and Dona Barbara.

Danna Garcia has also starred in several telenovelas in Colombia and Mexico such as "Perro Amor" and "El Norte del Corazon." The actress took a big leap when she moved to  Telemundo when she starred in  international successes  'Pasión de Gavilanes',' Te Voy a Ensenar a Querer ','Corazon Partido ','La Traicion  'and' Bella Calamidades. " Mexico also starred in "Un Gancho al Corazon 'and the remake of' Cuna de Lobos'. 

Telemundo has only given a few hints regarding thisis new project, but TVN confirmed that the contract has already been signed. It has also been disclosed that Pablo Illanes, author of the TVN production which aired in 2007 , has been working closely with the writer Perla Farias in adaptation. The te am behind the Telemundo version are still initial stage of creating the storyline which it crafting to be in line with the original police thriller concept.

Alguien te Mira is a story full of mystery and drama that revolves around the lives of four friends who witness a crime. They are trapped in the middle of the investigation to find the serial murderer who has the employs the same modus operandi to capture his victims. 

 

Completing the powerhouse cast of Alguien te Mira are:  David Chocarro, Angélica Celaya, Karla Monroig, Geraldine Bazán, Ximena Duque, Rodrigo de la Rosa and Yul Burkle.

Telemundo continues to invest in remakes of Chilean productions after the success of the adaptation of 'Donde esta Elisa? ", which has been sold to countries such as Spain, Venezuela, Bulgaria, Hungary and Panama, among others.
